The Ecological Complex of the Igarapés Park has the objective of offering leisure in an environment of sustainability and preservation of the remaining forest in the urban area of ​​the city of Belém. Located 7 km from Estadio Olímpico Paraense, Mangueirão, Igarapés Park was born in 1986, the the banks of the Ariri River, on the banks of streams that gave it its name. In 1989 it inaugurated, in its first stage, the 1700 m² swimming pool, the restaurant "Igarité, flavors and seasonings", ecological trails and sports fields. In 1991 it inaugurated the hotel with 15 chalets of charm to attend up to 78 people and the Hall Birds and Stars, to attend the academic and business branch, for up to 1,200 people seated, or stage for great shows serving audiences of up to 8,000 people. Event production of the complex has an auditorium, internet, sound system and image, as well as buffet and coffee break services. In 2005, it inaugurated the first tree-climbing circuit of the State, with a length of 425 meters. It is the only one that occurs in igarapés, which along the tracks, places the visitor on the adventure and excitement of contact with Amazonian exuberance. In 2009, 23 years after its founding, the construction of the Eco Residence Acqua Resort was started, an aparthotel with 84 apartments designed for long stays or investment in a lodging pool. In this stage, will also be complemented the Business Center and built the Ariri River Marina, which will have port, garage and descent ramp for boats. Everything to keep the public always close to nature.
