The Vienna Crime Museum is a museum in the 2nd district of Vienna, Leopoldstadt, in the district of the same name.
The end of 1991 from the Criminal Police Museum of the Federal Police Directorate Vienna (parties 1984), successor to the former k.k. Police museums (workplaces 1899), at the location outside the museum building in the Seifensiederhaus, in one of the older houses in the 2nd district, in Große Sperlgasse 24 (until 1862: Herrengasse 297). The director of the museum is Harald Seyrl, who suggested the location of the museum since 1984 with the war of matter development and has led the house since 1991.
