Majestic 15th century manor house, built by D. Afonso - future Duke of Bragança, bastard son of King João I - which served as his residence and his second wife, D.Constança de Noronha. Large palace with architectural characteristics of fortified house, roofs of strong slopes and numerous cylindrical chimneys that denote the influence of the master architecture of Northern Europe, it is a unique example in the Iberian Peninsula.
The building is classified as a National Monument.

Closed on 1 January, Easter Sunday, 1 May and 25 December
Free admission on Sunday morning
